A critical Kopite, Stephen Horner, reportedly contacted the Reds owners and their sons with concerns over the long-term future of the club, owing to the debt that is weighing down on the 18-time English champions. Horner was allegedly first termed an "idiot" before receiving a second offensive response from Hicks Jnr. "I'm genuinely shaken," Horner is quoted as saying. "I can't believe a member of Liverpool's board would write to a fan in this way. It sums up how the club is being run at the moment. "I simply emailed copies of an article which would make every Liverpool fan worried, suggesting the club's debts will prevent investment in the team. "I was hoping for a reassuring response, but instead I was insulted. "I don't want an apology, I just want them out of the club."
